I pulled out the Miras and was rolling through the lesson. Students were discovering how reflections worked and wrestling with the reflection over x=y. The class in general was struggling the right amount on the right topic, until all of a sudden previous knowledge came up and bit me. Little did I suspect they would have problems plotting points in the correct quadrant. Out of all of the teacher moves I considered, I opted for comparing results to other students in their groups. I ended with having all students write notes on the topic and compare to their partners. I will have to continue the lesson another day to finish the transition from Mira to not. I also have to remember that the lessons need one transformation per page.
