Day 24 – Rotations

Out of all of the ideas that I have taught so far, I believe I had the most traction in this lesson.  I am on the fence on whether or not patty paper helped the lesson or not.  Regardless, having students rotate the notebook to the position that is correct for the transformed figure, recorded the coordinates as if the x/y axis were oriented correctly and then reorient the notebook and plot.  While it took a time or two to get, students grasped the concept well.  Tomorrow is compositions.
